Whether it’s cocktails or mocktails, the list at Zelman has something for everyone; there’s the likes of classics like a Pina Colada and Mojito, but they’re alongside unique twists such as the Old Fashioned ‘Bad To The Bone’ (Buffalo Trace Whiskey, Beef Fat, Malbec Syrup, Celery Bitters), Smoky Margarita (Corazon Blanco Tequila, Mezcal, Agave, Lime, Apple, Spicy Rib Rub) and a Tropical Manhattan (Buffalo Trace Whiskey, Red Vermouth, Pineapple, Peychaud’s Bitters).

If you’re giving booze the night off, the mocktails guarantee you don’t have to sacrifice flavour too - whether you choose a Virgin Mojito, Summer Sunrise (Grenadine, Lemonade, Orange), Rosemary Power (Rosemary Syrup, lemon, Cloudy Apple, Cranberry) or Mango & Orange Nectar (Mango, Orange, Cream, Mango Foam).

A cut above

So the cocktails at Zelman Meats are to die for, but what of the food? Well, it’s every bit as good - and more.

Kick off with starters such as Tiger Prawn Tempura, Burrata, Beef Carpaccio and Lobster.

As you’d expect from a place called Zelman Meats, the steaks take centre stage on the main courses - Wagyu Rib-Eye from Australia - Grade 8-9+, cereal grains fed Japanese Black; grain-finished Angus Aberdeen Black Fillet from Canada; Australian Striploin - grain-finished Hereford & Angus Aberdeen Black; and Canadian grain-finished Angus Aberdeen Black Rib-Eye and Picanha.

Can’t decide? Then simply order the Zelman Plate, every cut on one plate - but there needs to be two people ordering it.

There are other options apart from the steaks (although they are incredible) - like the wonderful slow-cooked short ribs - USDA approved, served with BBQ sauce; seabass; or the famous Zelman Wagyu Burger. 

Your steak comes with a choice of sauces - BBQ, Peppercorn, Chimichurri or Sriracha Mayo - and whatever main course you order, there’s a myriad of sides including, Triple Cooked Chips, Charred Hispi Cabbage, Black Truffle and Parmesan Chips, Portobello Mushrooms and Roasted Heirloom Carrots. The good news about finding Zelman Meats is it’s easier than deciding what to eat and drink (although the super-friendly staff are always on hand to help with that).

 Zelman Meats is located on the top floor of Harvey Nichols, at the junction of Knightsbridge and Sloane Street - at the buzzy heart of London and on the fringes of chic Chelsea.

As well as Harvey Nichols, the world-famous Harrods is close by, as are famous landmarks such as Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.

In terms of getting there, a multitude of bus routes pass by (check the Transport For London website for all the details),while Knightsbridge tube station is just two minutes away by foot, and Hyde Park Corner is only a five-minute walk.
