Halal options are available on all the key steak cuts - kicking off with the melt-in-the-mouth beef carpaccio starter which is served with parmesan, crispy shallots and balsamic. When it comes to the main course, all The Cuts are halal, so you’re spoilt for choice.

If you really can’t whittle it down to one steak, don’t worry; simply ask for the Zelman Plate, every cut on one plate to share - a minimum of two people per order. If you’re a relative novice to the world of steaks, speak to your server, who’ll be more than happy to guide you through the choices and help you decide.

So what are the halal steak options? There’s a trio of Canadian cuts to choose from - grain-fed Angus beef from the prairies in Alberta.

There’s Picanha - a cut first popularised in Brazil (sometimes called rump cap), which is wonderfully tender; if you like a little more marbling fat for a fuller flavour, then our Rib-eye is what you’re seeking. Last, but no means least, is our flavourful Canadian Sirloin - lean and juicy, it’s a real winner. Our fourth halal steak option comes from Poland in the shape of Holstein grass-fed Fillet - the very softest, most tender cut of beef you’ll eat. A real meat freaks’ treat.

When it comes to tracking down halal restaurants in Knightsbridge, Zelman Meats is easy to find. We are at the junction of Sloane Street - on the fifth floor of the Harvey Nichols building. Hyde Park and Lowndes Square Gardens are both a stone’s throw away, and Kensington Gardens, Belgrave Square and Buckingham Palace are all nearby too.
